There is no better introduction to the culinary capital of the world than an evening of fine wine and champagne. On our first night in Paris, we experienced the extraordinary French Wine and Champagne Masterclass hosted by Sommelier Willie, and it exceeded every expectation.

The evening took place in an exquisite, intimate setting. Over the course of two hours, we tasted five curated wines and one premium champagne. Willie is a masterful host, seamlessly blending tasting notes with an educational journey across France’s famous wine regions, complete with maps to illustrate the terroir of each specific winery. We left with a much deeper understanding of wine ratings and regional characteristics.

The pairing of artisanal bread and gourmet hors d’oeuvres complemented the pours beautifully, easily serving as a light dinner. Willie’s expertise and warmth made this a truly memorable highlight of our time in Paris. It is an absolute must-do for any visiting wine lover.
